According to Galileo, “You can not teach a person something he does not already know; you can only bring what he does know to his awareness.” If you happen to be living the life I used to have before then it promises an unlikable future. Being unfocused with my goals and priorities just pulled all my energy to a drain. I ended up accomplishing nothing or a half-baked task. Then I realized that I’m going nowhere thus, I started changing my life and designed it for success. To unlearn the things that you normally do is quite a challenge. But, with the desire and goal to succeed, nothing is impossible. All you need to do is to discipline yourself so that everything will turn out naturally. That is what is taught in, “Eat That Frog”.

The First Step in Disciplining Yourself

In any craft or business we wish to engage in, a discipline is required and bundled along with it. If you are serious and dedicated in achieving success in your life, then you should know the value of discipline. By learning the teachings of “Eat that Frog”, I have formulated easy steps on how you can make your life focused and goal oriented.

Materials you need:

1. A pen

2. Clean paper

Right now, learn to discipline yourself by “thinking in paper”. Everything that comes in your mind that should be accomplished should be written down. You have the liberty to write as many goals you can think of. With the nature of your goals presented in black and white, you will then have a clear picture of what you need and want to achieve. One key thing here is using the principle of the 6 P’s (Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance). Put yourself in a situation of a medical triage. As an efficient medical professional, prioritizing which patient to address first, who can wait and who needs minimal medical supervision is the key for efficiency.

Prioritizing and planning what you need to do first will simply do the trick for you. If you happen to be in the Emergency Room, you prioritize and plan your render of care to the patients who need it most. Clearly you would want to take care of a dying person before a person that’s just having a headache. Also, You wouldn’t want to go in a battle without any preparation, I suppose? In relation to the book, “Eat That Frog,” students are taught how to attack the biggest and ugliest frog first. The discipline here is learning to engage with the most difficult task of the day, first, so that anything that follows it should just be easier. It’s simply eating the biggest and the ugliest frogs first, so that as the day progresses and your energy dwindles, you would just be flowing with the natural course of the day.

Now, you are lucky because there is a program that can teach you all this. What I have mentioned here is just a tiny portion of what the seminar offers. Not even a chapter. There are still more ways to stop procrastination and ways to tackle an prioritize our daily activities. And it’s not just about small tasks, there are more complicated things that are hard to put in the list that you will soon learn to process. You too can learn how to be disciplined enough and on your way to success.
