Industrial Music Crosses Over to Addiction Help In a Surprising Way
Industrial rock music has often been more archaic, yet that is beginning to change. There is this really upbeat synth-rock I saw by Matt Soren that has a unique perspective on industrial music. His CD is a mix of recovery music and the concept of knocking out addiction.
There are some music downloads at his URL at www.returnfrombroken.com. It sounds like the mixes are temporary while wrapping up official mixes. They sound clean to me but that’s just me. It is cool to find more electro-rock like this written particularly for addiction recovery in a more enjoyable way from a person that has already been through it and is making a difference for others in addiction. Plus It’s nice to have this type of synth-rock stemming from the industrial outlet which is normally darker in nature. Nice!
In addition, he has free mp3’s you can get from his site and more in his back extras page which is all free. I also saw discount passes, wallpaper, and other things it looks like he’ll be adding. It will be exciting to hear the album once it is finished.
